Established in 1989, the International Copper Association (ICA) is a non-profit international organization headquartered in Washington D.C. in the United States. Entering China in 1995, the association is now overseen by the country’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.


ICA represents 30 members worldwide including leading copper miners and smelters.


ICA is dedicated to enhancing the reputation of the copper industry, exploring sustainable development solutions, as well as technical upgrading and expanding potential applications of copper that promote energy conservation and emission reduction, green development, and improved quality of life.
